  1. Christopher T Bruscato

I am overall very happy with my purchase. The leather is very soft to the touch, and comfortable. I experienced no shipping problems or damage to the product. It came very well packaged, almost annoyingly so, taking all the coverings off. However, for such an expensive product I can understand the concern. I’m 5’9 and 200 lbs. This chair is just a tad too tall for me to sit in at the lowest setting, keep that in mind. I don’t mind it much though, it’s right on the line, and I lean back all the time anyway.

The lumbar support is not as useless as some other reviewers called out, but it definitely isn’t enough for those who really need support there. However, it does stiffen up quite a bit if needed. Honestly, if you need more support than that, the chair is large enough to accommodate a pillow. What I really want you to walk away knowing is this is a very well built chair, made from materials that have no play in them when tightened correctly. It’s heavy, and feels like it will last for a long time.

The wood is way lighter than what is shown though. Make sure you are OK with that. It’s closer to a walnut than a cherry. I will keep this chair, as the pros far outweigh the cons, and I was shopping to find the right one for a long time. I’m glad I settled on this one.

As a person who’s 6′ 4″ and about 270 pounds, I wanted a chair that was advertised as being built for larger people. This chair fits that purpose nicely. Assembly took about 30 minutes and, if you follow the directions to not tighten the bolts on the bottom until the arms are attached, you shouldn’t have too much difficulty with getting the arms on. So far the lower back support seems nice and the chair is fairly comfortable to sit in. The seat padding is firm but not uncomfortable.

After you’ve been using the chair for a few weeks, flip it over and re-tighten the bolts on the bottom. Be careful not to strip them, but I noticed that mine had worked their way out a bit after the chair had been used. Tighten the ones at the back underneath diagonally (in an X pattern, not side by side) and then the front. Don’t overtighten or strip the threads, just make them snug. There’s a few creaks and groans with the chair but it’s sturdiness seems good so far. I typically break chairs in two to three years due to my weight and plopping down in them and so far this one has withstood my typical abuse.

I’ve used this chair for two years, it’s relatively comfortable but the seat of it has gotten stiff so I use a cushion, the locking mechanism no longer works so it only leans fully back, and it’s tilted significantly to the right, which forces my body weight over and is uncomfortable against the side of my leg.

Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this chair, especially not for the price.

My old chair finally bit the dust. I was looking for a nice office chair. I looked at Amazon reviews for days trying to pick the right one out. Let me tell you, after reading reviews, no chair has a great review on here. Also, most had horror stories about assembly or the armrests not fitting, or the lift not staying up. I was concerned about purchasing any of them. After I finally decided I was going to go with this chair and take the risk, I was extremely happy with it. It took less than 30 minutes to put together by myself. It went together great, and it sets exactly as I like. Overall, I’m extremely happy and hope that it will not fall apart any time soon.

Finally upgraded desk chairs after about 7 years of the same old torn up leather basics chair. For reference, I’m 6′ 4″ and about 215lbs. This chair feels like sitting on heaven. I’ve spent hours sitting on it, working, gaming, watching tv/videos; and after about a month I can confidently say I will never let go of this chair. So comfortable. Great lumbar support and materials. Easy to assemble. What more is there to say? Buy this chair.

I’ve had this chair for about 4 months now, and I am just disappointed. When I received the chair, the packaging was open as if it had been dropped and the tape failed, but luckily all of the parts were still inside. The chair was less than intuitive to assemble. The included instructions aren’t great, but thankfully I got it together. I didn’t bother with the stock wheels because I only have carpet and those wheels simply don’t work. I replaced them with some rollerblade-style wheels. The chair did sit taller than I would’ve liked at first, but as I used it, it sank in. The range of height adjustment isn’t great, so if you’re short you’re probably not going to like this chair. The chair has been loud since the day I got it as well. Every time I leaned on it it would creak, and it got incredibly annoying after 1 week. I am a big guy, but this chair should not have trouble holding me up. Now, on to my biggest issue.

After 4 months of regular use, the mechanism which holds the chair upright (the lean-back feature) has failed. I am no longer able to lean back in the chair without it fully adjusting backwards. This is unacceptable at this price point. I expected this chair to last me years based on the build quality I initially thought was good when I received it. Unless you’re well under the weight limit and willing to spend $300 on a subpar chair that will break, do not buy this. I should’ve spent a bit more on something that would actually last.

Good looking office chair. Comfortable and the lumbar feels good. Having it be adjustable is a bonus, but I don’t think it is sometime you adjust often. Assembly was easy and it came well packed. When assembled however it was visably crooked. The back of the chair goes downhill from left to right. It’s not that the back is mounted crooked. There is something about how it was assembled. Everything is solid and attached so it’s not something I could fix like pull up on the material. Maybe a distance of an inch between left and right side. The chair is perfect and what I wanted….. Except I know there’s a construction defect. The web to the web customer service web site and filled out a form and submitted it, but no response from customer service.
