Kunafa with Cream – Middle Eastern Sweet

Indulgent Kunafa with Cream – the famous Middle Eastern dessert!

Ingredients

  • 500g kunafa dough
  • 200g melted butter
  • 500ml heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 500ml milk
  • 2 tablespoons rose water
  • 100g sugar syrup
  • Pistachios for garnish

Instructions

  1. Mix butter with kunafa dough.
  2. Press into buttered pan.
  3. Bake at 180C until golden (20 mins).
  4. Heat cream with milk and cornstarch.
  5. Add rose water.
  6. Pour cream over kunafa.
  7. Add syrup, garnish with pistachios.
