Dolma – Stuffed Grape Leaves

Traditional Dolma – stuffed grape leaves with rice and meat!

Ingredients

  • 500g grape leaves (jarred)
  • 2 cups Egyptian rice
  • 500g ground meat
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint
  • 2 tablespoons pomegranate molasses
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Soak grape leaves in hot water 15 mins.
  2. Mix rice with meat and vegetables.
  3. Place filling on each leaf center.
  4. Roll into cylinder shape.
  5. Arrange in pot with lemon juice.
  6. Add water to cover.
  7. Cook on low 45 minutes.
