Traditional Dolma – stuffed grape leaves with rice and meat!
Ingredients
- 500g grape leaves (jarred)
- 2 cups Egyptian rice
- 500g ground meat
- 2 onions, chopped
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley
- 1/2 cup fresh mint
- 2 tablespoons pomegranate molasses
- Juice of 2 lemons
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Soak grape leaves in hot water 15 mins.
- Mix rice with meat and vegetables.
- Place filling on each leaf center.
- Roll into cylinder shape.
- Arrange in pot with lemon juice.
- Add water to cover.
- Cook on low 45 minutes.
