Indulgent Kunafa with Cream – the famous Middle Eastern dessert!
Ingredients
- 500g kunafa dough
- 200g melted butter
- 500ml heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 500ml milk
- 2 tablespoons rose water
- 100g sugar syrup
- Pistachios for garnish
Instructions
- Mix butter with kunafa dough.
- Press into buttered pan.
- Bake at 180C until golden (20 mins).
- Heat cream with milk and cornstarch.
- Add rose water.
- Pour cream over kunafa.
- Add syrup, garnish with pistachios.
