  1. 1Pat shrimp completely dry with paper towels. Season with smoked paprika, cayenne, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly and set aside.
  2. 2Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. Add shrimp in a single layer — do not crowd. Sear 1–2 minutes per side until pink and just opaque. Transfer to a plate.
  3. 3Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the same pan. Once melted, add minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook, stirring constantly, for 60–90 seconds until fragrant and golden. Don't let the garlic brown.
  4. 4Return shrimp to the pan. Add lemon juice and toss everything together over medium heat for 30 seconds until the shrimp are fully coated and the sauce clings to every piece.
  5. 5Transfer to a serving platter. Spoon all the pan sauce over the top. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
